Interestingly, on the personal tree of life past/present/future axis (which is a vertical axis) the three glyphs belong to the same direction (colour), i.e.: the birth day glyph intercalating between the past and the future ones.

For instance, for AHAU, the sequence is:

EB (past), AHAU (present) and LAMAT (future)

Once we determine the past/present/future axis for all the dayglyphs, it appears that for each direction the dayglyphs are orderly placed according to a circular evolutional process of spiritual elevation. The glyph on the right of your birth day glyph is the one of the future and the one on the left, the one of the past.

The same Day Glyphs sequence ordonned in a Cyclic manner :

A closer look on the meaning of it tells us:

For the East:

From the Primordial Soup (IMIX), feelings emerge (MULUC) initiating a movement (CABAN) which traversed by a fire lightning (CHICCHAN) gives the inner power (BEN) from which emerges a new beginning (IMIX) and so on…

For the North:

The spirit of life (IK) leads to loyalty (OC) and must make a choice (ETZNAB) which leads to death (CIMI) in order to bring light into the darkness (IX) and initiate another spirit of life (IK) and so on…

For the West:

From the home/house (AKBAL) appears the playful child (CHUEN) ready to face the tempest of life (CAUAC) in order to become independent (MANIK) and eventually raise (MEN) and step into another home/house (AKBAL) and so on…

For the South

The seed (KAN) follows the way (EB) that leads to the light (AHAU) which becomes a star (LAMAT) from which wisdom bursts (CIB) from which another seed emerges (KAN) and so on…

It is fascinating, by the way, to observe that the first four dayglyphs are emergence ones, one for each direction: IMIX, IK, AKBAL, KAN.

Similarly, the last glyph in each direction is a glyph of achievement: BEN (inner power), IX (intuition), MEN (see things from a higher perspective) and CIB (wisdom).

Say otherwise:

To the East, the primary source leads to the inner power.

To the North, the breath of life leads to intuition.

To the West, introspection leads to see things from a higher perspective.

To the South, the seed leads to wisdom.

As a matter of fact, we can see that each dayglyph corresponds to a unique couple of past and future dayglyphs. Each dayglyph can thus be defined by this pair.

For instance, AHAU is surrounded by EB (past) and LAMAT (future). AHAU, the light, is therefore the “way that leads to the star (abundance)”.

In conclusion: dayglyphs are not isolated and randomly chosen symbols. They spring from one another according to four evolution axis: EAST, NORTH, WEST and SOUTH.

On the next page, we shall explore the other axis of the personal tree of life: i.e., the MASCULINE-FEMININE axis. Here, the directions are mingled two by two: EAST and WEST, NORTH and SOUTH according to the vertical and horizontal axis.
